21 Years Of Treacle
From humble beginnings Treacle have grown into a one stop shop for the luxury sectors design and web design needs – and we had a hell of a ride getting here. Follow our journey through the past twenty one years, from Candy & Candy to Corney & Barrow.
For over 40 years, Theo Fennell has been designing and making their own jewellery and silverware in their studio on London’s Fulham Road. In 2000, Treacle collaborated with Theo Fennell, working across a range of graphic design projects to help elevate and update the brand, including logos for a line of new jewellery they introduced.
IFSE specialise in restaurant, cafe, and commercial kitchen projects, transforming catering design challenges into exciting opportunities. Treacle worked with IFSE back in 2001, developing a variety of graphic design projects and layout plans for their latest endeavour.
Dunhill specialises in luxury goods, from watches to bags to menswear. Treacle worked with them back in 2002 on their new retail interiors, creating a range of visuals to help bring their vision to life.
Candy & Candy
Candy & Candy were trailblazers in the property industry for their innovative approach, turning interior design and development on its head. Treacle collaborated with the brand back in 2003, creating a series of brochures, websites and magazines to help in the early days of their story.
Treacle designed and produced a high-end magazine for the watch department in Harrods. Sourcing and editing articles and photography, the finished product was circulated over 80,000 times, and was included as both a magazine and an insert in the Evening Standard.
Treacle worked with Bvlgari, a famous Italian jeweller and watchmaker, on a series of marketing projects, including event invites, an intranet system, advertisements, and various graphic and print work.
Manolo Blahnik is a high-end shoe company, known for its original, creative flair as well as timeless classic styles. We worked alongside Manolo Blahnik back in 2006 to help develop their very first website, reflecting the brand’s dedication to sophistication through stunning visuals and elegant design.
Mdesign are the award-winning team behind some of the world’s finest residences. We have worked closely with Mdesign for more than a decade, on every aspect of their marketing. Over the years we’ve designed and produced many different ultra-high-spec printed communications, from stationery to luxurious brochures.
We worked with HP to create an advanced advertorial in conjunction with a leading UK newspaper, developing a microsite and downloadable fact sheets to support family activities.
Back in 2009, we collaborated with British Airways to elevate their internal comms, creating a series of websites to promote their involvement with the 2012 Olympic games.
POD Point is an innovative company based in the UK that specialises in all aspects of electric vehicle charging. Since their inception, we’ve worked closely with POD Point across all aspects of their business, developing a web-based system that would communicate between the charge points and centralised data requirements, as well as delivering customer and provider analysis, data and account handling.
Creating exquisite homes in the most sought after locations, Luxlo has been specialising in the design and development of prestigious properties since 2007. We’ve worked with the team at Luxlo for many years; reporting directly to the board, we form an integral part of their marketing output, and have assisted in building a strong PR, marketing and photographic team.
Treacle worked with 77 Mayfair in developing and branding various print collateral, as well as a password-protected website to market the property.
Corney & Barrow
Independent wine merchants since 1780, Corney & Barrow are exclusive agents for fine wines such as Salon, Petrus, and Domaine de la Romanee Conti. Over the last 5 years, Treacle has worked very closely with the Corney & Barrow marketing team to produce a range of marketing output for its trade and private client base.
We’ve worked with Auto Vivendi to design and built five websites and two microsites. We’ve also helped to refine Auto Vivendi’s advertising and created a range of print communications, including the club’s magazine. Each incarnation of the website has been powered by the latest tech, and has featured a high degree of interactivity, enabling members to bring their dreams to life in exciting and unique ways.
Kobox is boxing but not as you know it. Teaching ‘boxing by numbers’, they have London studios in Chelsea and The City. Treacle’s task was to reflect this ethos and work closely with the founder in the development of the branding and subsequent website, as well as stationery and other print collateral for their initial launch.
In 2016, we built email templates and landing pages for Toyota, using aspirational characters to tell the story of the car. The campaign was built and launched via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, enabling Toyota to keep prospects interested via a regular stream of exciting news. New prospects would drop into a tried and tested journey which helped keep engagement levels exceptionally high, with open and click rates at double the industry benchmarks.
SC Johnson is a family company dedicated to innovative, high-quality products, excellence in the workplace and a long-term commitment to the environment, owning a number of recognisable household brands. We worked on a range of graphic design work to facilitate their HR and internal comms.
Roffe Swayne are a large accountancy firm specialising in tax and business advisory services. Based in Surrey, they wanted to compete with London-based companies and needed a brand image that would position them accordingly. We worked closely with the team to develop new high calibre branding. We then applied this to everything from high-end brochures to stationery.
Sabina Estates is Ibiza’s first ecologically inspired private villa estate, set in 17 hectares of stunning countryside with uninterrupted sea and sunset views. We have worked closely with Sabina from the initial planning stages, where we designed and built a mobile-responsive website to showcase the development, incorporating a user login portal for private members to restrict public access and maintain exclusivity. Our accompanying print work includes linen hardback architect books and coffee table style art books, all created using sustainable materials.
MM&K are an independent consultancy specialising in the creation and implementation of business-driven pay and reward strategies. We worked with them to produce a new brand identity, and then applied this across everything from stationery to report documents. We also designed and built a new mobile-responsive website.
Car influencers are shaping the way the industry sells. And we are fast becoming a one-stop-shop for some of the UK’s biggest names. Our clients include Tim Burton (better known as Shmee150), who we’re helping with branding and an exciting new car scene platform. We’re also working with Sam at Seen Through Glass on a range of logos plus interactive and transactional websites.
